LECTORS
Lectors are lay men or women of the parish who read the first two scripture readings at Mass. They also assist in creating a prayerful environment by praying the Prayers of the Faithful.
Training and preparation is necessary for those wishing to become lectors. Once trained our current lectors read once per month.
We also have an opportunity for the young men and women of our parish from 4th grade through high school to participate in our Junior Lectors Program. As a Junior Lector these young men and women read the first two scriptures at our Sunday 9:00 a.m. Family Mass each week. Training is provided.
